Selected Works

Somewhere between Grandma's embroidery and modern anxiety.

Traditional Kociewian folk patterns deconstructed. My works are full of knotted lines, heavy textures and overflowing with emotion.

Feel free to browse through and don’t forget to let me know what you feel!

If instead of looking at paintings you’d rather read some academic context, here’s some curatorial info →

Oil & Mixed Media Paintings

In my opinion, elaborate compositions
shine brightest in the painted artworks.

The oils and mixed media artworks, with their
detailed textures and vibrant colours, provide
deeper insight into my unique point of view

Digital Studies

Digital Studies are an open series of abstract drawings exploring various kociewian etnographic motiffs and heritage symbolism.

The works are a nod to the original kociewian embroidery guide plates, that were handed over through friends and families across the years.

Context for the works

My visual language, characterised by the deconstruction of traditional Kociewian folk patterns fits within a lineage of artists who have sought to revitalise cultural heritage through contemporary artistic frameworks.
