A painting made for you.
Rooted in heritage, built around your space.

Each commission is a genuine collaboration, not a print-to-order service.
I work through your space, your story, and what you want the work to say.

WHAT TO EXPECT

What you're getting

Every commission is an original painting, usually oil and/or mixed media on thick linen canvas.

It enters your home as a one-of-one work, with certificate
of authenticity and full provenance documentation.

Works draw from the Kociewian folk visual language: symmetrical compositions, layered floral motifs, knotted linework, and textured surfaces that catch light differently throughout the day.

The scale and palette are adapted to your specific space.

HOW IT WORKS?

The process

Commissions open at the beginning
of each quarter. Current estimated lead
time is approximately 8-12 weeks
from deposit to delivery.

Here's what working together looks like:

Step 1 — Initial call
We arrange a quick 30 min to talk through your space, your reference images (if you have any), and what kind of emotional register you're after. Colour palette, scale, framing, all of it.

Step 2 — Concept proposal
Within one week, I send a written brief with scale, medium, and compositional direction. No sketches at this stage, as I work conceptually before touching the canvas.

Step 3 — 50% deposit
Heavy work begins. I document the process and share studio updates at key milestones.

Step 4 — Final approval and delivery
Before shipping, you receive high-resolution photographs for approval. Delivery is handled via specialist art logistics, fully insured.

WHO THIS IS FOR?

Is this the right fit?

Commissions work best when you have a clear sense of what you want the work to do in a space, whether that's anchor a room, spark a conversation, or carry a personal meaning that a ready-made work can't.

If you're looking for something fast or purely decorative, the studio editions or prints are a better starting point.

If you've been circling a particular idea, like a specific palette,
a scale that doesn't exist in the current portfolio, a piece
that references something from your own family or cultural background, this is the right conversation to have.
