The Works

Kociewian folk motifs form the structural DNA of each composition: symmetrical patterns, floral labyrinth forms, knotted lineworks.

These are not simply decorative references but rather the language in which I create my own world.

What makes
an Original different?

An original painting carries something
no reproduction can: the physical record of every decision made
in the studio.

The layers of paint. The places
where a line was pushed, reworked
in haste, or left to breathe.
The texture that catches afternoon light and drops into shadow at dusk.

I tend to gravitate towards oil,
but also experiment with various
inks, acrylics, and other, more unconventional media.

Solid framing
and stretching by hand

I assemble my stretchers and prepare the canvases myself. The traditional, labour and time intensive linen grounding is a crucial part of my creative process.

Thick linen is a common element
throughout various series of mine.
Surface that absorbs and holds
paint differently from a thin
cotton or synthetic canvas.

Acquiring an Original

How acquisition works?

Originals are available in two ways:

Studio visit
by appointment at the studio
in northern Poland. You see the work
in person, in the light it was made in.

Private digital presentation
A specially curated video walkthrough
of the work, showing surface, scale,
and texture detail, usually
followed by a video call.

In both cases, the process is unhurried. There's no sales pressure.

Either the work is right for your space
and collection, or it isn't.

Price & Provenance

Pricing and documentation

Original paintings are priced from €1,500.

Works above €3,000 are available by enquiry only
and not listed publicly.

All prices are in Euros and include VAT where applicable.

Shipping and customs

Shipping with all necessary documentation is handled
by the studio and quoted separately based on destination.

Official Ledger

A record of every original sold containing:
buyer name (or anonymous), date, price,
and condition is maintained in the studio archive.
